Praise For Brendas Books
WHISPERS ON THE WIND
"Great Historical Romance - Fans of western romantic suspense will appreciate this deep tale of love vs. vengeance. The crisp story line is vividly descriptive (my hands remain cold from the storm) so that the audience obtains a taste of Reconstruction Era Colorado yet still provides plenty of intrigue. Though the amnesia ploy feels ancient, the lead couple is delightful pairing that keeps the ruse fresh as both struggles with unwanted love when each has a secret that they respectively believe would end any relationship between them. In turn, readers will have a fine time with this winner."

"Jernigan has written a wonderful romance, filled with twists and turns and a new brand of villainy. The main characters are strong-willed and their witty dialogue adds to their three-dimensional qualities. SENSUAL."
Romantic Times
"This is the last book in the Misfit series. The author, somehow, was able to make me care for all the characters throughout the entire trilogy. Each book is a stand-alone story, but if you read all three you will see just how brightly the writing talent of Brenda K. Jernigan shines! Past characters, such as Thunder, return for an encore. Be warned that there is a lot of adventure in the fast paced novel, so do not begin reading until you have plenty of time with no interruptions. Uputdownable!"

"A spellbinding novel by a bright new talent."
Joan Johnston
New York Times Bestselling Author
"Fans who relish a deep historical tale will appreciate the depth that Brenda K. Jernigan gives to her poignant tale. The romantic subplot is handled with dexterity, as neither of the fully developed lead characters wants such an emotion at this time in their lives. Dont assume the climax because whether the diagnosis proves correct will require reading the novel as the audience will not know until the end. This in part is why Ms. Jernigan consistently remains one of the best authors around."

"This is an amazing glimpse into Americas past. The author added bits of history, such as a cameo by John Roebling as he began showing his plans on building the Brooklyn Bridge to friends and by Wild Bill Hickok. Do I recommend this story? OH, YES!"

"Take one knight, Sir Nicholas who is convinced women have but one good use, one fair maiden, Lady Noelle, who has no wish to wed, a wager and a Kings command, add the sweet spice of the Christmas holiday, stir with a jealous suitor or two, drizzle in a kidnapping, some secrets and then blend in a tournament for the ladys hand before simmering with passion and that is the recipe for and engaging story that might temp you away from Christmas shopping and give you a few hours of pleasure and Yule joy."

"WOW! I have always loved the tales of magical Camelot . . . and they are all here! The author, Brenda K. Jernigan, threw in an evil man (Prince Meleagant), some awesome secondary characters (to keep things lively), and the wondrous season of Christmas into the pot. The result was a spicy stew that will keep readers fascinated until the last page has been savored! High recommend!"

Huntress Book Reviews
"Brenda K. Jernigan's Zebra historical CHRISTMAS IN CAMELOT (Oct. 2002) is a pure delight! This is a charming tale of the Dragon Knight, Sir Nicholas, the ladies' favorite, who vows never to wed and the Lady Noelle, who protests her arranged marriage to Sir Gavin and vows only to marry for love. As Nicholas and Noelle find themselves rescuing each other, they are also forbiddingly drawn to each other. With a little help from Arthur, Guinevere and Merlin this couple is able to find true love. What fun it is to revisit beloved old characters during the pageantry and passion of the holiday season at King Arthur's court and then discovering a new couple at Camelot to cherish!
